After graduating high school Glenn Rogers joined the U.S Army and served from 1977 to 1979 as a military police K-9 officer. After an honorable discharge Glenn was hired as a correctional officer in 1980 for the Monmouth County Jail. After working in the jail for six months Glenn resigned to pursue college full time at Brookdale Community College, Majoring in Criminal Justice. In January of 1982 the Tinton Falls Police Department hired him. Upon graduating from the police academy Glenn was assigned to the detective burea where he served for six years. Glenn went back to the patrol division where he served as an assistant squad supervisor. Glenn eventually started the K-9 unit in 1994. While working as a K-9 officer Glenn was promoted to Lieutenant and was assigned to Station House Commander and Training officer.
In 2003 Glenn was promoted to Captain he was in charge of administration, investigations, training, and community relations. Captain Rogers acted in the capacity of Internal Affairs Investigator from 1999 until his retirement in July of 2004. Captain Rogers was an active firearms, tactics and use of force instructor during most of his career.
Shortly after retirement Glenn Rogers was hired by the Michael Stapleton Association in Manhattan, NY. Glenn worked in the capacity of Explosive Detection K-9 handler during his stay. Eventually in 2005 glenn started his own dog training business, At Home Dog Training.
